Water pollution is the presence of harmful material, such as sewage, dissolved metals, waste from farms and factories, crude oil spilled from shipwrecked tankers, etc. , in water. Mainly, water sources like rivers, ponds and lakes air polluted by the wastes from Factories. Wastage is dumped in the river which dissolves with the water and contaminants it. people in the villages used river water for bathing, washing clothes, bathing there animals, etc. This pollutes the water greatly. People also throw wastes like garbage, plastic bags, and various things in rivers. Also sometimes, the drainage of the house is also directed in rivers. In the seas and oceans, where big ship travel long distance, oil spills from their tankers and float in the water. People are drinking and using polluted water. Drinking polluted water cause many diseases like typhoid jaundice, etc. Water is life and if there will be no water left on this earth, the world well come to an end. All the living beings depend on water largely. Water pollution is threatening life of all. Measures must be taken to control water pollution on individual basis as well as largely. The government and organisations should step forward in controlling the pollution everywhere by spreading awareness and taking required measures.
